Privacy Policy

What this site collects, which third parties load here, and how to change or withdraw a consent choice.

Last updated: September 16, 2026

This policy explains how Animal Hospital Wiki ("we", "this site") handles information when you visit animalhospitalwiki.com. It covers what we collect ourselves, what third-party services load on our pages, and the choices and rights you have.

Information we collect

This is a static informational site. We do not ask you to create an account, log in, or submit any personal information, and we do not operate user profiles, private messages, payment forms, or comment accounts.

Our hosting provider records standard server logs — such as IP address, browser type, requested URL, and timestamp — for security, abuse prevention, and performance monitoring. We do not use those logs to identify individual visitors.

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message. We use it only to reply and to investigate the issue you reported.

Cookies and similar technologies

We do not set our own tracking cookies. Cookies and similar identifiers on this site are set by the third-party services described below, and only where they are permitted to load. Your browser settings let you block, review, and delete cookies at any time; the site continues to work if you do.

Analytics

Where permitted, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are popular, how visitors find the site, and how the site performs. We use this data in aggregate to decide what to write about and what to fix. Google Analytics 4 does not log IP addresses for us, and we do not combine analytics data with any information that identifies you. You can block Google Analytics across all sites with Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Advertising and third-party cookies

We display advertising to keep this guide free to read. Depending on where you are located, ads may be served by Google AdSense. Advertising is kept separate from our editorial content: no advertiser reviews, approves, or influences a guide page.

Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies, including the DoubleClick cookie, to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings, opt out of third-party vendor cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info (or youronlinechoices.eu in Europe), and read how Google uses information from sites that use its services at Google's partner sites notice. Google also uses cookies to detect invalid traffic and prevent advertising fraud, which protects both advertisers and publishers.

What we send to ad networks. We do not pass your name, email address, or any other information that directly identifies you into ad requests, because we never collect that information in the first place. Requests carry the page URL and standard browser signals only. We do not set up custom audiences, remarketing lists, or interest segments of our own.

Ads on this site are labelled as advertising and are visually separated from surrounding content. We do not use pop-under or interstitial formats, and we never ask you to click an ad.

Consent in the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, a consent message is shown before any advertising or analytics cookies are used, and advertising and analytics remain off until you make a choice. We use a Google-certified consent management platform for this, so your choice is recorded and honoured by our advertising partners. Where personalized advertising is enabled, we rely on your consent as the legal basis for using advertising cookies, and you can withdraw it at any time through the Cookie settings control in the footer.

Where a consent message applies to you, a Cookie settings control appears in the footer of every page so you can change or withdraw your choice at any time. Withdrawing consent stops personalized advertising on your next page load. You may also email us and we will pass the request on.

Even without consent, non-personalized ads may still be served in some regions. These ads are not based on your prior browsing behaviour.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights over personal data relating to you:

  • Access and portability — request a copy of the personal data held about you.
  • Correction — have inaccurate personal data corrected.
  • Erasure — have personal data deleted, where we are not required to keep it.
  • Objection and restriction — object to processing based on legitimate interests, and restrict how your data is used.
  • Withdrawal of consent — withdraw an advertising or analytics consent choice at any time, without affecting processing that already happened.
  • Non-discrimination — we will not degrade the site, withhold content, or change our service because you exercised a privacy right.

Because we do not run accounts or collect profiles, in most cases we simply hold no personal data about you to act on. Where a request concerns data held by an advertising partner, we will tell you which partner and help you reach their request mechanism. To exercise any right, email support@animalhospitalwiki.com with enough detail for us to understand the request. We respond within 30 days.

Do we sell or share personal information?

We do not sell personal information. We do not have accounts, mailing lists, or customer data to sell. Some privacy laws treat personalized advertising as "sharing" personal information with advertising partners; if you want to opt out of that, use the Google Ads Settings and aboutads.info links above, the Cookie settings control in the footer, or the opt-out signal built into your browser.

We do not knowingly collect or process sensitive categories of personal data (such as health, religion, sexual orientation, or precise location), and we do not use sensitive information for advertising or audience targeting.

Location data

This site does not request access to your device location and does not collect precise geolocation. Our hosting provider determines an approximate country from the request IP address so that regional consent rules can be applied. That country value is not stored in a cookie or other persistent storage on your device.

Children's privacy

This site is a general-audience gaming reference intended for users aged 13 and over. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. We do not ask any visitor to create an account, submit personal details, or provide a Roblox username or password.

We treat this site as not child-directed for advertising purposes. We do not knowingly serve personalized (interest-based) advertising to children, we support Google's child-directed treatment signals, and we do not target advertising using sensitive categories of data. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has sent us personal information, email support@animalhospitalwiki.com and we will delete it.

Roblox accounts are governed by Roblox's own terms, and children under 13 need a parent or guardian to manage their account. This guide does not replace or override any parental controls available from Roblox.

Data retention and security

We keep as little as possible, for as short a time as possible:

  • Server logs — retained by our hosting provider for a short period, typically up to 30 days, for security and abuse prevention.
  • Analytics data — retained on Google Analytics' default retention period (currently 14 months), then deleted automatically.
  • Support emails — kept until your question or correction is resolved and then for up to 12 months, so repeated reports can be handled consistently.

We do not store gameplay accounts, Roblox usernames, passwords, or payment details. Because this is a static fan guide with no login system and no public user database, the amount of data that could be exposed is deliberately small. No website can guarantee perfect security, but we keep the site simple on purpose.

International transfers

Our hosting and advertising providers are based in the United States and other countries, so information they process may be transferred outside your country of residence. Those providers rely on their own legal transfer mechanisms, such as standard contractual clauses, for that processing.

Third-party links

Our pages link to third-party sites such as Roblox and YouTube. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices. Embedded YouTube players are loaded in privacy-enhanced mode and only where regional rules allow; a plain link is always offered as an alternative.

Changes to this policy

We update this policy when the services we use change — for example when an advertising partner, analytics provider, or consent mechanism is added or removed. The "last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
