Animal Hospital Patch Verification Log
10 patches checked against the live build, with the specific claims tested and the ones that still need confirmation.
| Verification level | What it means | Typical content |
|---|---|---|
| Verified in game | Reproduced through direct play or repeatable in-game evidence | Anomaly behaviour, spawn windows, prices |
| Confirmed by source | Listed in the announced patch and consistent across current coverage | Cosmetics, quality-of-life changes |
| Unconfirmed | Announced or reported but not yet reproducible | Secret classes, datamined claims |
Each entry below records the claim, the result, and whether the claim held. Announcements are listed on the updates timeline; this page tracks what survived being tested.
2026-09-07 — Wolf Agent and Maid Skins Redesigned
Status: Confirmed by source
| Claim | Result | Verdict |
|---|---|---|
| Secret Agent Wolf Agent skin redesigned | Cosmetic change listed in the announced patch | Held |
| Intern Maid skin redesigned | Cosmetic change listed in the announced patch | Held |
| NPC movement speed increased | Movement change reported consistently across current coverage | Held |
Cosmetic-only patch. No shift, treatment, or anomaly behaviour is affected, so nothing in the guide had to be revised.
2026-09-05 — Second Floor
Status: Verified in game
| Claim | Result | Verdict |
|---|---|---|
| Second floor and Lab added | Reachable in the live build; the Lab hosts the DNA experiment flow | Held |
| DNA experiments use a Sampler on a patient | Sampler flow reproduced, then the serum is built at the sequencer | Held |
| Four Lab ingredients added | Milk, Ginger, Strange Jelly, and Mushroom listed as current ingredients | Held |
| New Journal achievements added | The Lab achievements are the newest additions to the 55-entry list | Held |
The largest recent patch. Journal totals were rechecked after this release: the list still holds at 55 entries and 1,170 Animal Coins.
2026-08-22 — Even More Lore!
Status: Verified in game
| Claim | Result | Verdict |
|---|---|---|
| New Liz interaction and lore cutscene | Reproducible through the Liz questline | Held |
| Wheelchair unlocks by the entrance | Unlocks after Shift 3 or immediately when the tutorial is skipped | Held |
| Wheelchair does not move lore characters | Confirmed restriction on lore characters | Held |
The wheelchair restriction is the detail most often reported incorrectly. It moves patients faster but not lore characters, which matters when planning a treatment route.
2026-08-08 — Lore Expansion Update
Status: Confirmed by source
| Claim | Result | Verdict |
|---|---|---|
| New lore interactions and cutscene | Present in the live build | Held |
| New location added | Reachable; the guide lists it on the locations page | Held |
| Additional skins added | Cosmetic additions across several classes | Held |
Lore-focused patch. No documented change to anomaly behaviour or treatment values, so existing guide pages stayed accurate.
2026-07-25 — The Hazmat Team Arrives
Status: Verified in game
| Claim | Result | Verdict |
|---|---|---|
| Slime Shift begins between Shifts 12 and 23 | Window behaviour reproduced; not a fixed shift number | Held |
| Slimebert leaves when the shift ends | Confirmed: he is not permanently removable during the shift | Held |
| Fire Extinguisher stuns but does not defeat him | Stun reproduced; he remains active afterwards | Held |
| Sam can be hired for $250 after the shift | Hire window and price confirmed | Held |
The most reported patch of the period. The single most important correction here is that no shift number is guaranteed - treat the window as a window.
2026-07-13 — Small Update
Status: Confirmed by source
| Claim | Result | Verdict |
|---|---|---|
| Quality-of-life changes applied | Listed in the announced patch | Held |
| No new anomaly content | Anomaly list unchanged after the patch | Held |
Treated as a maintenance patch. The anomaly, patient, and class pages did not need revision.
2026-07-10 — Harlow's Favorite Update
Status: Verified in game
| Claim | Result | Verdict |
|---|---|---|
| Dr. Harlow office content added | Office interaction and box-moving task present in the live build | Held |
| The office task counts toward the Journal | Confirmed: Dr. Harlow's Office is a 50-coin achievement | Held |
The Journal award is what players usually miss here. The office task is one of the higher-value single achievements at 50 Animal Coins.
2026-06-26 — The Class Upd Pt. 2
Status: Confirmed by source
| Claim | Result | Verdict |
|---|---|---|
| Additional classes added | Reflected in the current 11-class roster | Held |
| Class unlock costs remain as listed | Coin costs match the class pages | Held |
Class prices were rechecked after this patch. The coin-purchased classes still run from Nurse at 20 coins to Surgeon at 2,500 coins.
2026-06-19 — The Class Upd Pt. 1
Status: Confirmed by source
| Claim | Result | Verdict |
|---|---|---|
| First wave of classes added | Reflected in the current roster | Held |
| Class perks function as listed | Perk and Sanity level descriptions match the class pages | Held |
Paired with Part 2. Both patches together produced the current class lineup.

| Game launched on Roblox | Launch date recorded as May 10, 2026 | Held |
| Content rating is Minimal | Matches the Roblox listing | Held |
Baseline entry. Everything above this row is a change measured against the launch build.
Why a Verification Log Matters
A patch announcement tells you what the developer intended to ship. It does not tell you whether a spawn window is fixed or randomised, whether a price changed, or whether a reported mechanic behaves the same way in a normal run as it did in a recorded demo. Those are the details that decide whether a guide page is still correct.
The clearest example on this list is the Slime Shift window. Announcement coverage described the event as arriving around a specific point in the run, and that description spread as a fixed shift number. Testing showed a window instead, which changes what a player should do: keep playing through the range rather than restarting when the shift has not appeared.
The same applies to values. Class unlock costs, the Sam hire price, the Ambulance reward, and the Journal payouts are all numbers a guide can get wrong while sounding authoritative. Recording them here with the date they were checked makes it obvious which figures have been reconfirmed recently and which ones are older.
When a claim does not hold, the correction is applied to the guide page it affects and the entry stays on this list rather than disappearing. That history is useful: a value that has changed once is a value worth rechecking after every patch.
Patch Verification FAQ
How is this page different from the updates timeline?
The updates timeline lists what each patch announced, with dates and sources. This log records what was actually checked afterward, so it tells you whether a claim held up rather than only that it was announced.
What does "verified in game" mean here?
The behaviour was reproduced in the live build, either directly in play or through repeatable in-game evidence. It means the claim can be relied on, not that the developer documented it.
What does "confirmed by source" mean?
The change is listed in the announced patch and is consistent across current coverage, but it has not been reproduced through a direct in-game test. Cosmetic and quality-of-life patches usually sit in this category.
How often is this log updated?
After each announced release. Animal Hospital updates roughly every two weeks, so the log is extended whenever a new patch appears on the timeline.
What happens when a claim does not hold?
The entry is marked as changed and the affected guide page is corrected rather than left with the outdated value. Corrections are also accepted from players through the contact page.
